You like the busy atmosphere (sometimes chaotic) of the urgent care scene and can manage multiple tasks at once. Being an independent thinker, you enjoy running a clinic under your guidance and have a sincere desire to assist in the training and development of everyone you work with, even if it’s simple and minimal.
This position is specifically for our Laguna Niguel/Dana Point location. No call or rotation with competitive salary.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
-Examine patients to obtain information about their physical condition.
-Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
-Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination.
-Make tentative diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment of patients.
-Prescribe therapy or medication as necessary.
-Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
-Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and infection management.
-Instruct and counsel patients about prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.
-Review charts from the previous day and make follow-up calls to our patients.
-Remain on-site during entire duration of shift.
-Other duties as required.

-Emotional stability
REQUIREMENTS
-3 years experience, preferably in an urgent care or emergency care setting
-Positive attitude and a willingness to work as a team member as well as a leader
-MD or DO
-Board certified - FP, ER or UC
-DEA
