- Diagnose and treat an array of pediatric and adult illnesses, ranging from preventative care to treating chronic illnesses
- Provide non-emergent outpatient medical care for the treatment of acute, episodic, and some chronic medical conditions, such as common colds, flu, nausea, asthma, allergies, hypertension, and diabetes.
- Treat many minor injuries, perform minor surgeries, and conduct diagnostic screenings such as X-rays and lab tests.
- Order and interpret indicated diagnostic testing based upon evidence-based medicine and clinical practice guidelines.
- Procedures may include suturing, x-ray over reading, and EKG's.
- EMR charting.
- Strategic oversight of clinic - growth and retention
- MD or DO degree and a current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Alabama
- Must be Board Certified or Board eligible in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Med-Peds or Emergency Medicine
- Post residency experience preferred
