Advantage Locums seeks a physician for Urgent Care coverage in southeast Ohio. There are 3 urgent care locations that the physician may cover. This need begins ASAP for 6 months. The physicians are responsible to see all patients that come through the door but any patient with illness/systems outside the scope/comfort of urgent care can be sent to the local emergency department. The patient volumes vary with the highest being in the winter months. This average can be anywhere from 15-50 patients/day (50 is a stretch, but it can happen). The clinic hours are M-F 9AM to 8PM and Sat/Sun from 11AM to 6PM. Patient mix is 50% Adult, 25% Geriatric and 25% Pediatric and the physician is responsible to see all patients that come through the door.

Candidate Requirements:
- Must have a current and unrestricted Ohio license, Federal DEA
- Must be Board Certified Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Must have current BLS, ACLS, PALS and ABLS certifications

The hourly compensation rate for this assignment is $90-$100 per hour and will include travel, housing and malpractice insurance.
