ProHealth Physicians, one of the largest community-based medical groups in New England, is seeking a full-time B/C Family, Internal, Emergency or Urgent Care Physician to lead the ProHealth Express Care Centers (Centers). The Centers provide access to non-emergent, high-quality, affordable medical care for patients who need care after regular office hours. The Centers accommodate patients on a walk-in basis or by appointment with weekday evening, weekend and some daytime hours.

The position consists of both clinical care (50%) and administrative and clinical oversight (50%). The targeted start date is June 2016.

Clinical Care Role
• Weekly schedule shall include on average three weekday nights (Monday-Friday 5:30PM-9PM) and one weekend day (either Saturday 9AM-5PM or Sunday 10AM-2PM)
• Which location(s) the Director will be based in is negotiable
• There is no rounding required and no inpatient responsibilities.

Administrative and Clinical Oversight Role
• Provide review and input to the Business Director in developing and monitoring clinical outcomes and customer satisfaction
• Complete clinician chart reviews on a monthly basis to provide clinical oversight and feedback to Express Care providers
• Provide oversight into the further development of the Express Care program
• Work directly with the CMO and Business Director to achieve goals and outcomes as identified annually in the strategic plan
• Assure that all provider staff meet and or exceed standards for clinical performance
• Assure that appropriate policies and procedures are developed and maintained
• Acts as a liaison to the referring physicians, medical directors and medical staff for problem resolution, and to receive feedback on overall services.
• Provide annual in-service education session for provider staff

Center operating hours Monday-Friday 5:30PM-9PM, Saturday 9AM-5PM, Sunday 10AM-2PM (exceptions to these hours noted below)

Minimum Position Requirements
• State of CT Medical Licenses and DEA
• Board Certification in the specialty in which you practice
