Job Description

Last Update: 9/22/16
Greetings,

We have a client that has a significant interest in non-narcotic prescription pain and scar creams. They have patients in the queue ready to be contacted. Please see the description below for complete details. Please also note that the number of patients seen by locum Tenens USA physicians is 6-10/hour.

The field is growing very fast. Compensation is excellent and the volume of patients has doubled in 1 month. Malpractice coverage is included. You choose how much or little you want to work. Please forward your CV and where you are currently licensed if you're interested.

The telemedicine opportunity pays $30/consult. We have multiple companies that we deal with. One of them states the experience as this:

“We streamline the Telemedicine process by using our support staff to assure the most efficient use of time for each doctor. The doctor spends his or her time doing the consultation with the patient and not wasting time making calls or sitting around waiting for calls.

Similar to a private practice, when a patient walks in for his pre-scheduled appointment, our Telemedicine Medical staff obtains the Patient’s i) Medical History; ii) previous Surgeries; iii) Conditions; iv) Allergies; v) Current Medications, along with all patient demographics into our HIPAA complaint software.

Similar to a Private practice, every Physician likes a Busy Waiting Room, thus we create a Busy Virtual Waiting room.

Each doctors advises us, in advance, as to their available time windows. We then book patients appointments within those time windows in our appointment software. The patient will receive email and text reminders from us about their appointment. We try to fill each hour of the doctor’s time with up to 20 patients.

As the appointment windows approach, our staff steps in and contacts the patients just before their appointment time and transfers the patient to the doctor. We “work” the appointment list throughout each hour, to keep a fluid flow of patients going to the doctor. Most consultations take about 3 to 5 minutes.

When the doctor logs into the Telemedicine portal, they will see the patient’s file, similar to a patient file jacket with Nurse’s notes that is found on the outside of an exam room door. With a simple click on the patient’s name, in our software, all the patient information is displayed on the screen.

Doctors typically treat just a few different basic medical complaints by communicating with the patient, as per their standard of care and as their state requires.

We provide the script pads for each patient, in advance, that has the patients name, demographic information, allergies, insurance info, current medications already filled in. Whenever medically appropriate, the doctor will select the treatment from the script pad, sign the script and fax it to the pharmacy fax line.

Occasionally, if the Insurance denies a compounded formula, the pharmacy can call the doctor and recommend a substitute, which allows the Pharmacy to change the Prescription to another Non Controlled compound. Often the doctors may simply provide a single substitution letter authorizing the change for all affected patients.

What makes our procedures so favorable to the doctors is the support staff that is provided for each doctor, to eliminate them from having to make outbound calls, wait endlessly for inbound calls or waste time typing up long tedious forms. Our Telemedicine staff handles it all.”

If you're interested, please forward your CV and the states that you're licensed in. Please feel free to call or email with any questions. Thank you.

Yours in Health & Success,
Eric
