Job Description

Last Update: 9/22/16
Greetings,

The number of Telemedicine encounters we provide continues to grow by the day as we are connecting more physicians to thousands of consultations per month. We are seeking to expand our provider network to meet the demand and looking for physicians who are interested. Below is a description of the current opportunities.

Depending on your availability, our clients will work with you around your schedule. This could be full-time or part-time, whichever you choose.

The job would include:

1) Reviewing each patient's medical history provided to you by our clients before the consult.
2) Contacting the patients via video or audio and reviewing their medical history along with the products they are seeking.
3) Signing their order/prescription after consult is completed upon your approval.

Our patients are seeking non-narcotic pain alternatives and holistic treatment options (products are outlined below). They are looking for access to a physician via telemedicine to discuss treatment options and receive proper care. There is never any pressure for a prescription, as you will treat the patients and decide to approve or disapprove.
Portions of patients are seeking DME orthotics such as a back or knee brace. For DME’s, a PECOS certification is required and we can provide literature upon request. There are also some patients that are requesting pain creams, scar creams and metabolic supplements (all FDA approved products).

We work directly with Pharmacy Benefits Management companies and abide with all applicable HIPAA compliance and kickback laws. MyOnCallDoc handles our software compliance and their COO, Craig Long, sits on panels in congress regarding telemedicine legislation.

Each consult will run around 15 minutes and compensates $30 per consultation. You can set your own schedule and see patients when you are available. We handle licensing and credentialing as well as cover your malpractice. Consults are currently by phone but can be video capable should state regulations require.

If you would like to proceed, please respond to this email with your CV. Once credentialing is done, we will set up a time for training and send you a contract in order to get started.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

Yours in Health & Success,
Eric
