Telepsychiatrist - Physician - (Psychiatry - Telemedicine) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Telepsychiatry (locum tenens) is the practice of telemedicine in the field of psychiatry. For adults, telepsychiatry can help in cases where adults are not able to get to a hospital for service, live outside of rural areas, and are needing care for issues and/or disorders. Using technology, in telepsychiatry a psychiatrist will have a two-way video conferencing system to visit with the adult patient. This type of technology is becoming more readily used as the number of psychiatrists is limited in many areas.

Located on the Southern California coast, San Pedro is the quintessential harbor town. Here you’ll find the legendary World War II-era battleship USS Iowa, anchored just a few blocks away from the Pacific Battleship Center. San Pedro also offers exquisite fine dining, beautiful beaches, unique shops, entertainment, art studios, and more.
