OPEN POSITION:
Physician - Occupational Medicine & Urgent Care
LOCATION:
The organization has clinics in Virginia Beach, Hampton, Newport News, and Chesapeake.
During the interview process, the hiring managers will work with the physician to determine practice site(s), based on candidate schedule preference and location.
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time and Part-Time Hours Available
- Flexible Schedule Options
OFFICE HOURS (Newport News & Chesapeake):
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00am to 4:30pm Daily
OFFICE HOURS (Virginia Beach & Hampton):
- Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 7:30pm
- Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am to 2:30pm

This multi-site occupational medicine and urgent care practice was established more than 25 years ago to meet the growing healthcare demands for local employers and residents.
On a more personal level for their nearly 50 medical providers and staff members, the organization is keenly aware of the importance of work/life balance. This has resulted in long-tenured, dedicated team members who are passionate about their work and take an innovative approach to their clinical practice.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Serve as an occupational medicine and/or urgent care provider, supported by a clinical assistant who will prepare your patients for examinations.
You will see an average of 30 patients per day - depending on length of shift, this could be less.
There are no on-call duties.
The practice utilizes the Practice Velocity electronic health record system.
The organization will provide all necessary training - no experience in urgent care or occupational medicine is required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- valid Virginia medical license
- current DEA
- relevant experience is not required; all necessary training will be provided and paid for by the practice
