We are in need of 3-5 Physicians perhaps in the 4th quarter of their career in which they are no longer interested in clinical practice, but wish to continue to utilize their clinical knowledge in the following areas which are the types of physicians (board certified) we are looking for with these backgrounds: Orthopaedic or Neurologic Spine Surgery, General Orthopaedic Surgery or Interventional Pain (AN, PM&R, RAD). **This position too would be ideal for a female physician who wants to stay home with her children.

The physician would be mainly be doing chart review/ utilization review for health plan companies. This is a 40 hour a week job and the physician can work remotely. Will review on average 8-10 charts/day. The hours can be somewhat flexible, but typically are 8a-5p. We will also consider candidates seeking to work 20 hrs. a week, which will include benefits and the salary range will be half of full-time range. The physician must be computer savvy.

The salary range is $230,000- $ 270,000. Malpractice is paid/ full benefits package.

Requirements: Must be computer savvy. Must be Board Certified, have an active unrestricted License to practice medicine in a state or territory the United States as a utilization review doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathic medicine and knowledge of applicable state and federal laws, URAC and NCQA standards. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of clinical practice experience. For Orthopaedic or Neurologic Surgeons must include the independent performance of standard orthopedic surgical procedures. A fellowship in spine surgery or extensive spine surgery experience is desirable. Must have a clean databank and No current significant malpractice history.
