Teleradiologist - (Teleradiology - Telerad) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
The Indian Health Center in Minnesota is looking for a radiologist to work Monday through Friday 8:00a to 4:30p.
CBC/BE, MQSA, Furnish proof of 12 (over-reads) annually
General X-rays, Ultrasound, MRI, Computed Tomography and Mammogram Images. Routine plain film and Ultrasound studies due within (24) hours or less. Abnormal reading due immediately. Equipment needed DICOM radiology system and must be compatible with the service units GE Centricity.
Teleradiology(locum tenens) is a fast growing medical area that involves the transmission of patient imaging, including x-rays and CT scans, from one location to the other. This technology allows for better radiology practices because it allows skilled radiologists and healthcare professionals to assess collected imaging data remotely. The technology is particularly important in rural hospital settings which may not have subspecialist radiologists on staff.
