Job Description

Last Update: 9/22/16
Our client, receives daily request from patients that are seeking alternative or additional medication to help resolve inflammatory Pain. There are clear parameters with all patients that CONTROLLED Rx's are NOT AVAILABLE. There are bona fide, sincere patients interested in improving their daily quality of life and to try and rid the daily inflammation and accompanying pain that affects their lives.
The pharmace serves 40+ states and welcomes Tele-Med consults from physicians and patients when a Provider/Patient relationship has been established...and this simply means the Physician and Patient have CONNECTED one-on-one, and not via a chart note review or similar protocol. The Pharmacy's team of Pharmacists will send out an attestation letter to each new Tele-Health physician they receive prescriptions for -- and the form will need to be signed and returned ONE TIME. They will also collect your best telephone and email so they can communicate with you for any patients you have consulted with.
The patients being referred have been advised on the potential benefit of a Topical Cream (Via a Single NDC Drug Kit, NOT classified as a compound), in combination with a topical patch, which will provide alternate methods of inflammation reduction and subsequent pain relief. A copy of a typical combination is available, but of course, each patient will get the individual care and diagnosis pursuant to the physician's consult and professional opinion. When the two Rx's are jointly prescribed, patient's have been provided a 24-hour continuum of care, with the objective to reduce inflammation/pain, improve quality of life, and for MANY MANY patients, reduce dependency on oral opioid Rx's.
We are pleased to have the opportunity to participate in a program that is not reliant on compounded drug prescriptions, as the reduction in benefits for a vast majority of patients has resulted in a majority of written Rx's being denied via insurance coverage. This program will allow for a high percentage of patients to receive the medications they need without insurance rejections.

For more information or to get started, please forward your CV and any questions that you may have.

Yours in Health & Success,
Eric
