Surgeon - (Surgery - General) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 01/05/2015Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
The Indian Hospital in Northwest New Mexico is in need of a full time General Surgeon to begin as soon as credentialing is completed. Board Certified/Board Eligible (within 5 years) must have an active DEA, BLS. Any unrestricted state license. Outpatient clinic seeing 10 to 15 patients and or 10 to 15 patients in the inpatient setting.
A general surgeon(locum tenens) is trained and qualified to perform a wide range of surgical procedures and thus must be familiar with a wealth of medical conditions and treatments. These surgeons may be tasked with operations ranging from burn trauma to vascular surgery, though they do not usually perform highly complex surgical operations, such as treatments of the heart or brain, which are performed by specialized surgeons.
