Surgeon - (Surgery - General) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Varied Shift
Hospital in central Arizona seeking full time General Surgery coverage until a permanent hire can start in July. Candidates must be able to perform endoscopic, laparoscopic, and vascular procedures There is no Gastroenterologist on staff. Schedule will consist of clinic Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm, with 24 hour weekend call plus 1-2 nights of call per week.
A general surgeon(locum tenens) is trained and qualified to perform a wide range of surgical procedures and thus must be familiar with a wealth of medical conditions and treatments. These surgeons may be tasked with operations ranging from burn trauma to vascular surgery, though they do not usually perform highly complex surgical operations, such as treatments of the heart or brain, which are performed by specialized surgeons.
Required Qualifications
AZ license. Board certified or truly board eligible.
