Surgeon - (Surgery - General) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
We are seeking a General Surgeon to pick up additional shifts throughout the end of the year, into 2015. Call is 1:2 with an established practice. No ICU or critical care duties. EMR is EPIC. The clinic is beautiful and located next door to the hospital.
A general surgeon(locum tenens) is trained and qualified to perform a wide range of surgical procedures and thus must be familiar with a wealth of medical conditions and treatments. These surgeons may be tasked with operations ranging from burn trauma to vascular surgery, though they do not usually perform highly complex surgical operations, such as treatments of the heart or brain, which are performed by specialized surgeons.
