• Locum Tenens General Surgeon
• Immediate coverage needed thru December 31, 2015
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active ATLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
JOB DETAILS
• Will assess patients in clinic Monday – Friday
• Hours are 8a – 5p with 1 hour for lunch
• Will be on call 24/7
• Will be the only surgeon available
• Must be comfortable handling any trauma that comes through the Emergency Dept
• Surgical procedures include minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries
COMMUNITY DETAILS
• University town in west Texas in the heart of Big Bend
• Population less than 10,000
• Accessible by municipal airport and bus line
• Unofficial stop for bicyclists riding across the United States
