Opportunity for a GS Physician to join our new Acute Care Surgeon team part-time at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Relocation not required; flexibility of schedule is key. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded individual who will support the staff and work in a collegial manner while demonstrating clinical excellence, superior communication skills, and high patient satisfaction scores. Other requirements include an awareness of patient affordability issues and an attitude that places the patient above all other considerations. Must provide quality care and be comfortable with a broad range of general surgical procedures. Credentials include board certification in General Surgery; an active Georgia license to practice; and a track record in the full scope of General Surgery.
