Surgeon - (Surgery - General) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

The Indian Health Hospital in Oklahoma is in need of a General Surgeon to begin as soon as credentialing is completed. The contract will run for 3 months with the option to extend. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 4:30pm. The Physician will share in the call rotation with 3 other General Surgeons.

A general surgeon(locum tenens) is trained and qualified to perform a wide range of surgical procedures and thus must be familiar with a wealth of medical conditions and treatments. These surgeons may be tasked with operations ranging from burn trauma to vascular surgery, though they do not usually perform highly complex surgical operations, such as treatments of the heart or brain, which are performed by specialized surgeons.

Required Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible
DEA, BLS, ACLS required prior to start
Must be comfortable with upper and lower endoscopies. Must be comfortable with EMR
Any State license is accepted
