An established group of Surgeons, whose practice is located in a large clinic on the grounds of a new hospital, are searching for an additional General Surgeon. The hospital and clinic are state of the art with synchronized Electronic Medical Records systems, four Surgery suites and twenty-one pre and post-op rooms. There are a range of on-site specialists for referrals, back up and consultation. The incoming physician will be employed with a starting salary of $400,000, or more depending on experience. A $100,000 retention bonus is also an option for a four year commitment. Trauma call is 1:4 and a $50,000 bonus is offered for joining the Trauma call rotation. Long term earnings are easily in excess of $500,000. Ancillary income is available for physicians willing to perform scope work in a nearby Ambulatory Surgery Center. The community is one of the most affluent in the state and South Dakota's economy is booming, with one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country. This is one of the best opportunities for earnings considerably above the national average.
