This is an opportunity to work in an employed, General Surgery position, a little over and hour from Lexington. The new physician will join another employed physician and share call with a third, private practice Surgeon. The bulk of the cases are bread and butter General Surgery with occasional light trauma. A local Gastroenterologist handles the bulk of Endoscopies, but a small percentage is performed by the Surgeons. Base salary will be in the range of $400,000 with a full, hospital benefits package included. This is a very scenic part of Kentucky with easy access by car to most Kentucky locations and with convenient non-stop, air connections to almost every major U.S. city. The local cost of living is a remarkable 13.4% the national average.
