RGB Group, Inc. is looking for a full time Flight Surgeon to work for the 31st Medical Group in Aviano, Italy.

Responsibilities:

Determine need for consultation and assists in medical care and treatment provided at the direction of other specialists.
Approve/disapprove subspecialty referrals.
Answer patient telephone consults with the assistance of clinic staff.
Be capable of adequately diagnosing and treating a wide-range of pediatric and adult acute and chronic diseases and injuries including but not limited to conditions of the: Skin, head, pulmonary system, gastrointestinal system, eyes, ears, nose, throat, neck, cardiovascular system, psychiatric and behavioral health, musculoskeletal system, genitourinary system, reproductive system, lymphatic system, central nervous system, and endocrine system.
Have sufficient experience to be able to adequately perform medical procedures to include, but not limited to, the following: Basic Life Support Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Simple minor surgical procedures.
Attend and participate in patient care reports.
Provide occupational medicine support.
Respond to medical emergencies.
Provide and organize medical care for flyers and special operational personnel and their families, to include prospective medicine, counseling, and family unit support.
Manage disorders and injuries unique to flight medicine.
Serve as a liaison between flying squadrons and other medical services.


Qualifications:

English proficiency (capability to read, write and speak English).
Must have graduated from an approved medical school, completed a residency of fellowship.
Must have current board certification in Aerospace Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or Preventive Medicine.
Ten (10) years active duty U.S. military Flight Surgeon experience and must have flight surgeon experience within five years of date of hire.
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy from a school in the United States or Canada approved by a recognized accrediting body in the year of applicant’s organization.
Minimum five years of experience in the following areas: leadership, strategy management, communication, business or healthcare administration, finance, and quality management.
Knowledge of medical information systems and automated analytical tools and software (clinical and financial models). Expertise in quantitative and qualitative analyses techniques using various military computer systems.
