Partnership near Nashville!
Opportunity:
As the new General Surgeon, you'll join a multi-specialty group with a wide caseload and excellent volume (70-75 surgeries monthly). This search was prompted by the senior surgeons’ retirement - leaving a patient-panel and community need. The group is comprised of thirty-two members, serving the area since 1940. Established referral base within group (12 primary care physicians and 7 NP/PAs). Call will not exceed 10 days monthly (supplemented by two contracted prn surgeons).
Practice highlights:
* Serve one hospital of 157 beds (practice on-campus)
* 30,000 ED visits annually
* Population of 115,000
* Inpatient surgical volume increased by 24% over the past year
* Active Hospitalist program of eight providers
* 24/7 MD/CRNA anesthesia
* block scheduling
* 6 modern surgical suites
* 4 procedures rooms
* fixed CT/MRI (contracted radiology service-interventional radiologist)
* Well managed, EMR (NextGen)
Compensation:
This stable multi-specialty group offers a lucrative compensation package, each specialty has its own cost center enhancing income distribution, with a base salary plus productivity (RVU), a sign-on bonus of $40,000, and full benefits. There is also a partnership track offered second year. Option to buy-in if desired.
