Our client is a 100-bed facility that provides a full range of medical services — from outpatient surgery, radiology and nuclear medicine to cardiopulmonary and pediatrics. One of their two General Surgeons retired but is working part time for them now. They need call coverage during the week, NO clinic work.
Job Details Below:
Must be Board Certified in General Surgery with a fairly clean background.
Ship out all trauma they cannot handle
Type of cases include: Bread and Butter type cases, little or NO trauma.
Have ALL Sub-specialty background
Call Schedule: Taking call during the week, doing consults and may have to come in to do emergency procedure.
6-10 shifts per month
6 ORs
Census: Low
All Adults
EMR is T-System
Credentialing: can get someone credentialed in 2 weeks!
