A General, Bread and Butter, Surgeon is needed to take over cases no longer covered by a Surgeon now performing only MIS procedures. The position is primarily clinical, but there is an opportunity to teach and engage in research. An Associate Professor position is available depending on the incoming physician's experience and training. The facility handles Level II Trauma cases, most of which are blunt force trauma. A base salary of $300,000 will be offered along with a production bonus plan. This is a charming riverfront community with a historic downtown area. It is also home to a university which brings along a wide range of dining, entertainment and cultural venues. Two hours from Lexington, Kentucky, Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio. The cost of living is a remarkable 20% below the national average.
