MedCare Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Eligible General Surgeon for locums coverage 2 hours east of Tacoma, WA. Coverage will begin August 29th and end September 2nd, 2014.
Position requires AM rounding then on-call availability for remainder of day. Hours will be 7 am – 7pm on all days of assignment
Scope of Practice: Provider will be on ER call at a level 3 trauma center. Rounds will take place every morning and 9 patients will be seen each shift. Position is 40% hands-on.
Requirements: Provider must be Board Certified or Eligible in General Surgery with an active ATLS certification. ACLS certification is also preferred. Provider must have a Washington state license and a DEA.
