General Surgery – West Virginia
A truly wonderful position for a BC / BE Surgeon. This Position is Hospital Employed. The position has been created to handle an increased demand for services. You will be joining 2 other surgeons, and draw from a large primary care referral base, with efficient work flow. A friendly work environment makes this position a choice opportunity. Call coverage is 1 in 3, medical consults are handled by the facility hospitalist program. Modern up-to-date office based EMR is in use. Work week is approximately 36 to 40 hours per week, and is a mixture of office/clinic, performing procedures and post – op care.
A market competitive salary base of $300,000. Other benefits include: relocation allowance, signing bonus, and much [Register to View] an added incentive, a performance based bonus system is available!
Located in the foothills of the Allegheny mountains, the local area is known as West Virginia's mountain playground, and was named a “Small Town Gem” by the WV Department of Commerce. Big city amenities are just a short drive away. Pittsburgh, PA is less than 1 hour by car, Washington, DC is less than 5 hours away, and the state capitol at Charleston is slightly over an hour away. Reasonable home costs, good public and excellent private schools, a regional/international airport located close by, and one of the top 100 small private universities in the United States are all within reach!
