Surgeon - (Surgery - General) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 40 Hours/Week
Location: 1 Hour outside of Phoenix
Schedule: Full Time Opportunity
Responsibility: 50% Office-Clinic and 50% Hospital
Length of assignment: 6 months
Additional information: electronic medical records system is Cerner, will provide call support for the emergency department, privileges will be required
A general surgeon(locum tenens) is trained and qualified to perform a wide range of surgical procedures and thus must be familiar with a wealth of medical conditions and treatments. These surgeons may be tasked with operations ranging from burn trauma to vascular surgery, though they do not usually perform highly complex surgical operations, such as treatments of the heart or brain, which are performed by specialized surgeons.
