Surgeon - (Surgery - General) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 01/31/2014Available Shifts: 24 Hour On-Call
Locum Tenens General Surgeon needed in Kentucky for 24-hour call coverage. Dates of coverage are January 31st through February 5th. Board Certification strongly preferred. 4 to 7 patients per day. No trauma.
A general surgeon(locum tenens) is trained and qualified to perform a wide range of surgical procedures and thus must be familiar with a wealth of medical conditions and treatments. These surgeons may be tasked with operations ranging from burn trauma to vascular surgery, though they do not usually perform highly complex surgical operations, such as treatments of the heart or brain, which are performed by specialized surgeons.
