General Surgery Program Director

Major Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA is seeking a dynamic and accomplished physician leader to establish an ACGME Accredited, General Surgery Residency Program from the ground floor. A qualified candidate will be required to show a successful history of clinical research, curriculum development and organizational leadership. To ensure the program is successful, the director must possess strong administrative skills, interpersonal abilities, and a drive to succeed.

Minimum Qualifications:
* 5 years experience as Clinical Teaching Faculty in an General Surgery residency program
* 3 years experience as a Program Director OR Associate Program Director of an General Surgery residency program
* Board Certified in General Surgery
