Orthopedic Surgeon - (Ortho Surg) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 24 Hour On-Call
Health system one our outside of Boston is needing an Orthopedic Surgeon to provide call coverage one week per month. This is a locum tenens assignment and the physician would support the other three physicians in the group. The assignment would begin in October and is expected to continue into the new year.
An orthopedic surgeon (locum tenens) treats muscle and skeletal problems such as those that accompany diseases like arthritis or with injury or trauma. Orthopedic surgeons who specialize in foot and ankle procedures have completed fellowships of focused training in these physiological areas. When a patient requires a complex surgery in the foot or ankle, general orthopedic physicians will refer them to foot/ankle specialists.
