Hospital Employed Position – Defined Need
Will be Busy, but not too Busy
Cover the Service Line – Not expected to work hard at building service line
Replacement position with quick ramp-up
Bread and butter cases - 20 to 25 procedures a month anticipated
Replace an existing Surgeon who is moving into full-time Wound Care
Good referral base
50 Bed Hospital with new OR’s and equipment
Salary of $300K to $350K plus benefits
Employment includes competitive base salary and comprehensive benefit package including paid vacation/ holidays/CME; paid malpractice with extended reporting coverage; health/dental/vision insurance; 401(k) retirement; option to participate in the Physicians’ Tax Advantage Wealth Program which allows physicians over the age of 50 to defer up to 50% of their income!!
Generous commitment bonus and relocation allowance;
City of approximately 8,500 people. Additionally, there are at least half that many people living within a five-mile radius of the city limits. This population has created the demand for the cozy housing developments that are popping up everywhere in this rural community. In recent years, a new $6 million recreation center, a new $6 million gymnasium, and a new $9 million county courthouse have been built. This community is located in close proximity to city of 1M population. Can live in city and commute if you so choose. Low cost of living plus great outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, biking, jogging, and hunting are at your fingertips daily.
Position does not qualify for J-1 waiver;
Must be board eligible or board certified if out of training 6 years or more. Practice experience preferred but not required.
