H1 and J1 visa's are accepted. BC/BE Experienced pediatric surgeon needed to join an existing practice. We have a couple of pediatric surgeons who are wanting to slow down for a year or so and ease into retirement. This would be a great opportunity for a physician who would like to go on a medical mission, spend more time with family, or someone who would love to have some time to slow down and smell the roses . The opportunity is more of a job share than part time. Flexible schedule; average 4-6 weeks on/off More hours available if desired Skilled in neonatal surgery and general pediatric surgery Strong pediatric hospitalist team Current call is light Current call is for 4-6 weeks at time with an average 1-3 calls per night Neonate Unit average daily census 25-35 neonates with only 2-4 cases/month. ER call is routine only - No trauma No oncology Strong referral source of 14+ pediatricians Facility: - Fully accredited by the Joint Commission - Level II Trauma Center - Active 650 member physician and allied health professionals - Provides a broad spectrum of healthcare services including, but not limited to: Cardiovascular Services, Cancer Center, Surgery Center, Arteriography, Interventional Radiology, Imaging Services, Regional Hyperbaric Center, Level II Trauma Center, GI Short Stay Unit, Intensive Care Unit, High Risk Labor and Delivery Unit, Center for Perinatal Medicine, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pulmonary Diagnostics, Respiratory Care Services, Women's Clinic with Midwifery Services, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pulmonary Diagnostics, Respiratory Care Services, Women's Clinic with Midwife Services, Laser Treatments, Gamma Knife Services, Orthopedics, Movement Disorder Clinic, Hemodialysis Services, Post Anesthesia (PACU), Vascular Services.
