Vascular Surgery in Texas | Large Private Group | $650,000 + Income as Partner

Merritt Hawkins, the country's largest physician recruitment and consulting firm, has been retained to identify a dynamic Vascular and General Surgeon to join large private group in Texas. The practice we represent is well-established, insulated from competition and offers a wide scope of surgical services. If you are patient care-focused, quality-care minded and contemplating a career change, I would invite you to consider the following premier opportunity:

The Practice is a Group of Well-Trained Surgeons, Offering all Aspects of Vascular and General Surgery:
  • Fellowship-trained Vascular, Breast, Oncology and Plastic Surgeons already in place within the group
  • In-office Angio Suite and Vascular Lab with Certified Vascular Technologists
  • Cover one hospital equipped with a daVinci Robot and endovascular lab
  • Recently renovated clinic less than a mile from the hospital
  • Located in the best medical market in Texas—plenty of volume, high reimbursements, low competition

The Financial Potential and Benefit Structure are Rarely Matched in our Current Market:

  • Two years of guaranteed income as you build your practice
  • Income potential well above national average—$650,000 in earnings as a full partner
  • Partnership track with a base salary and collections based bonuses as an associate partner
  • Real estate investment opportunity
  • Generous paid time off, aggressive pension plan, malpractice provided and paid health benefits

Texas is Universally Regarded as the Best State to Practice Medicine:

  • Tort reform since 2003 has created a non-litigious environment for physicians / no need to practice defensive medicine
  • Texas has low physician density and higher than average incomes
  • No state income tax and below average cost of living
  • Diverse statewide economy that has proven to be recession resistant
  • More medical schools and training programs in Texas than any other state

The Community is a Mid-Sized City that Offers Plenty of Amenities and Very Little Traffic or Crime:

  • Moderate year-round climate with over 300 days of sunshine
  • Metro population of over 300,000 with an international airport connecting to four major hubs
  • A four-year university, medical residency programs and excellent private and public schooling options
  • Drivable distance to ski resorts, fly fishing, major lakes, mountains and the state's largest and most visited state parks
  • Multiple country clubs, public golf courses, tennis, hiking and biking trails
