The Peripheral-Vascular Surgeon shall perform comprehensive peripheral-vascular care on site at the hospital. Workload includes the evaluation and treatment of emergent, urgent, and non-emergent patients. Workload is a result of scheduled appointments, walk-ins to the clinic from the Emergency Department, walk-ins for specific diagnoses and telephone calls, and consults. The Peripheral-Vascular Surgeon will be required to consult with other specialty physicians for consultative opinions and continuation of care.
Schedule and Benefits:
Monday – Friday 07:00AM - 04:00PM w/ rotating call required.
Competitive compensation/negotiable as an Independent Contractor.
Benefits: Travel/lodging/car/Per Diem/ ect… or as comparable monetary compensation for such benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
Shall have 24 months of vascular surgery experience within the last 36 months and a minimum of 4 years of experience in vascular surgery.
Possess basic knowledge in management and daily operation of a clinic servicing a large number of patients with a variety of healthcare needs and illnesses.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
Must have graduated from an approved medical school, completed a residency or fellowship acceptable to the U.S. Air Force Surgeon General.
Must be able to pass a govt background check and obtain clinical privileges at a govt facility.
Current valid and unrestricted license to practice in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Must be in good standing and under no clinical restrictions, with state licensure board in any state in which a license is held or has been held within the last 10 years.
