New opportunity exists in Central Illinois for 1-2 BE/BC vascular surgeons to join a growing group of 33 cardiologists and 5 cardiothoracic surgeons.
- Walk into an aggressive practice that will be busy from day one with a primary care referral base of 300+ providers.
- Physician will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary model with cardiologists, CV surgeons, independent radiologists and other non-employed physicians.
- Call of 1:4 is shared with employed cardiothoracic surgeons and in conjunction with collaborating practices.
- Opportunity exists to perform a large volume and variety of open and endovascular cases including EVAR, TEVAR, CAS, with access to their new state of the art hybrid OR suite, the Innova IGS Discovery 730.
- You will also be a member of the TAVR team implanting the Edwards valve.
- They also do a large variety of venous cases and have a high volume non-invasive vascular imaging lab that is ICAVL certified.
- Their team participates in approximately 8,000 in-office vascular lab studies per year and numerous research trials.
- The OSF Cardiovascular Service Line works in conjunction with 17 area hospitals and 9 clinics to provide the most comprehensive services available for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
- They are currently working to develop a Vascular Institute model to service the overall ministry of 9 hospitals with focus on meeting the needs of population management in an ACO environment and healthcare reform.
