Vascular Surgeon - (Surgery - Vascular) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 05/01/2013Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Board Certified Vascular Surgeon needed as soon as possible in Eastern Kentucky-based medical center. General Vascular Surgery. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm. Call schedule includes evenings and 1:2 weekends. The client is offering flexible schedules as need is urgent.

Specializing in the treatment of diseases and conditions that affect the arteries and veins, such as coronary heart disease and pulmonary embolism, a vascular surgeon(locum tenens) performs medical procedures that repair and remove blockages from arteries and veins. Vascular surgeons must be licensed by the USMLE and have completed both general surgery residencies and fellowships in advanced vascular surgery training.
