Job Description

Last Update: 7/14/23
We are recruiting a skilled Vascular Surgeon to join a wonderful facility in New Hampshire’s Seacoast Region, just 20 minutes from Portsmouth, NH and the Maine border. Join the staff of this impressive 110-bed acute care community hospital featuring cutting-edge diagnostic imaging with a fully integrated EMR system. This state-of-the-art facility supports 250 physicians, with health care providers in 39 specialties. If selected, you will be intricate in designing the practice of your dreams. The practice attracts patients well beyond the hospital’s typical service population of 100,000 residents. The vascular surgery group will add two physician assistants in the near future, and will also recruit a third surgeon to round out the practice and ease call. The incoming surgeon will enjoy a convenient 4-day/week schedule while earning a very competitive base salary plus obtainable RVU incentives, excellent hospital benefits including fully paid liability insurance (with tail), paid health, dental, disability, and life insurance, 4 weeks paid vacation, plus a CME budget with paid time off, additional PTO for holidays and sick leave, as well as participation in their pension plan. Enjoy living in a state with NO sales tax and NO income tax! Rochester offers excellent school systems (public and private), several prestigious colleges, numerous restaurants, mall & outlet shopping, a wonderful children’s museum, along with a wide range of activities including: live theatre, golf, concerts, hunting & fishing, cross-country skiing, hiking, camping, and kayaking on the many rivers, ponds, and lakes. Rochester is a bustling city located just 20 minutes from the coast, and just 30 minutes from Manchester, and about an hour from both Portland, ME, and the White Mountains of NH. It is just 90 minutes north of Boston, MA. Physicians requiring H1 and J1 visa sponsorship are encouraged to apply.
