This is a great chance to work at a slower pace while enjoying the mountains and woodlands of rural North Carolina. Base salary for this position is at least $225,000, with the final figure dependent upon experience and skills. The single surgeon in town is working nearly double time to keep up, so there is tremendous potential to build a practice quickly. The employer is seeking someone to perform bread and butter general surgery, but if the new physician would like to add Vascular procedures, that would certainly be welcome. The community is surrounded by a National Forest and you can go fly-fishing a few steps from your door. World class rock-climbing, mountain-biking, hunting, fishing and alpine skiing.
