Northern Illinois hospital is looking to build their General Surgery program
- Ultimate goal is to make this a 5 person General surgery practice
- This would be an employed position
- Salary package commensurate with the MGMA in the $300-$350K range based on experience
- Great referral base of more than 130 primary care and 400+ subspecialist colleagues
- To do the full spectrum of Bread & Butter General surgery including Surgical Acute Care, Elective General Surgery and Endoscopy
- Surgeons would be affiliated with a major University
- As a faculty member this individual will have the support of an academic department with more than 95 colleagues representing all subspecialties of surgery.
- This partnership between the University and the Hospital will allow access to the resources of their preeminent tertiary academic medical center.
- Health System serves 12 counties in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
- Located approximately 90 miles north of Chicago, and 70 miles south of Madison, this is the third-largest city in Illinois with a metropolitan population of nearly 350,000.
