Michigan based hospital is seeking a General surgeon
- They currently have one full time surgeon following the departure of two surgeons this year for personal reasons.
- A surgeon has been hired that will start in July 2014, but they are looking for an experienced general surgeon to join the practice as soon as possible, since they are using locum tenens for coverage.
- Join a collegial multi-specialty group of primary and specialty care providers affiliated with this Hospital.
- An established bread and butter general surgery practice.
- Laparoscopic surgery and Endoscopy skills required.
- Minimal travel may be required with plans to expand outreach services.
- Offices located in professional medical building attached to the hospital.
- Electronic Health Record shared with medical group

- This is an independent, 46-bed acute care facility, with an attached 34-bed skilled nursing facility, serving four counties in northern Lower Michigan.
- 24 hour physician-staffed Emergency Department
- 3 Board certified Anesthesiologists and 3 CRNA provide Anesthesia services 24 hrs 7 days a week.
- State of the art surgical suite includes 3 OR?s, 3 procedure rooms, an Endoscopy room, and 22 bed PACU.
