Looking for a general surgeon that wants to practice outside of Columbia MO which is home of the University of Missouri. This is an employed position with an excellent salary and full benefits. Call will be 1:3. They will also offer a stipend to 2013 grads. This medical center is JCAHO accredited facility serving a population of 50,000 in north central Missouri. A full service, acute care hospital, it operates a Level III Trauma Center with physicians on duty 24 hours a day. One will also find a variety of denominations represented in this beautiful and charming town. The community actively supports nearly 30 churches, including a parochial grade school. Mid-Missouri residents enjoy the four seasons. Average summer temperatures are 78-80 degrees Fahrenheit, the winter averages about 40 degrees.
