General Surgeon Sought!The practice seeks to add the services of a general surgeon who has interest in bread and butter general surgery cases in addition to interest in breast surgery cases. There is an average of 69 breast cancer diagnoses in the county per year which provides a basis upon which to build as much of a breast surgery practice as desired regionally (conceivably up to 35-40%). The partners have individual specializations (renal access; vascular and endovascular; wound care; and endoscopic procedures) in addition to taking general surgery call. The addition of a surgeon with interest in the bread and butter general surgery and breast cancer surgery would balance the group and capture market share. Call is 1:4. This is a partnership track opportunity for a collegial, well-trained surgical specialist. First year income guarantee from the hospital with forgiveness over 3 years of service after the guarantee year. Salary guaranteed at MGMA national median for the specialty plus production opportunity once guarantee level is passed.
