Surgeon - (Surgery - General) Locum Tenens
General Surgery locum tenens opportunity in Iowa. Our client is seeking a provider to work in the clinic, but primarily be available for 24 hour call. This opportunity will start in October and extend until they hire another permanent provider. Give us a call today for more details on this opportunity.
A general surgeon(locum tenens) is trained and qualified to perform a wide range of surgical procedures and thus must be familiar with a wealth of medical conditions and treatments. These surgeons may be tasked with operations ranging from burn trauma to vascular surgery, though they do not usually perform highly complex surgical operations, such as treatments of the heart or brain, which are performed by specialized surgeons.
Required Qualifications
IA license, BCLS, ATLS, and ACLS
