The Hunter Holmes McGuire Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center is seeking an experienced Neurosurgeon to join the Surgical Service Line Team. Qualified applicants will be fellowship trained (or equivalent experience) in functional neurosurgery with emphasis on DBS surgery and will be board eligible/certified. Frameless DBS experience is a plus. The position includes general neurosurgical cases and resident supervision. The applicant should be comfortable with a broad range of neurosurgical procedures including spinal instrumentation.
