Level 3 Trauma Center seeks to add qualified General Surgeon to join an established team in southeast NC about 1 hour to Raleigh and 1 hour to the coast. A trauma fellowship is not required and you will also do bread and butter surgery. This Medical Center has steady volumes of admissions. The position will be approximately 50% acute surgery and 50% elective cases. Call is shared with other experienced surgeons. Backup is available. BE/BC surgeon with strong surgical skills are desired, trauma interest and added qualifications in surgical care is encouraged. Trauma Fellowship is not required.
