Surgeon - (Surgery - General) Locum Tenens

Hospital in Northern California is in need of a board certified general surgeon to help with 24 Hour call coverage. Shifts are 7a-7a. This coverage is needed until a permanent hire is made for the practice.

A general surgeon(locum tenens) is trained and qualified to perform a wide range of surgical procedures and thus must be familiar with a wealth of medical conditions and treatments. These surgeons may be tasked with operations ranging from burn trauma to vascular surgery, though they do not usually perform highly complex surgical operations, such as treatments of the heart or brain, which are performed by specialized surgeons.

Required Qualifications

Board Certified or true Board Eligible, within 5 years.
