Job Description

Last Update: 2/16/16
Adventist Health's Central Valley Network is actively seeking a General Surgeon to join our team. Working within our northern markets, the incoming surgeon will practice out of Adventist Medical Center – Selma, a nice community hospital just south of Fresno. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, skilled clinician comfortable with MIS and most every aspect of general surgery. Several employment models are available including the opportunity to join Adventist Health Physician Network, a California medical foundation. Call is shared. This position comes with a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes guaranteed income, PTO, medical and malpractice insurance, 401K and relocation assistance. Though surgeons with practice experience are preferred, final year residents/fellows will also be considered. The ability to communicate in Spanish would be helpful, but is not required.

The Central Valley communities we serve continue to demonstrate vigorous growth, and cover 2500 square miles and more than 250,000 residents. The incoming provider will participate in a successful and expanding health care delivery system and gain the reward of making a difference in a community where everyone will come to respect and appreciate your contributions. The successful candidate will be one who lives in a community that is serenely free of bumper-to-bumper traffic and high crime rates and is near the majestic beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

Candidates must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospital's medical staff credentialing standards.
