Hocking Valley Medical Group (HVMG) in Logan, Ohio, is seeking a General Surgeon to join our multi-specialty group of twelve providers. We currently have one general surgeon, Dr. Michael S. Tornwall, who has been with our group since 2001.
Our multi-specialty group is affiliated with Hocking Valley Community Hospital, a 25-bed Critical Access hospital with a busy Urgent Care, Emergency Room, and a 10-bed geriatric Behavioral Health Unit.
You will enjoy your newly renovated space in the modern Community Improvement Corporation Building, (CIC Building), located next to the hospital within walking distance of your office.
HVMG is located in the beautiful Hocking Hills region of Ohio, one hour southeast of Columbus. Logan has a population of approximately 7,500 residents with 29,000 total residents in Hocking county. The service area for our hospital is about 42,000 not including the 3 million visitors to the Hocking Hills annually. Our community offers limitless opportunities for hiking, zip lining, fishing, canoeing, and just enjoying the outdoors. In addition, we have highly rated public schools all newly constructed within the last 10 years.
