Surgeon - (Surgery - General) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
The Army is looking for a qualified General Surgeon for services at Ft. Bragg. Provider must be board certified and have a current BLS and ACLS and PALS and DEA. Provider will be working 2 days a week in clinic and 3 days of surgery, as well as being on call 2 weeks out of each month.
A general surgeon(locum tenens) is trained and qualified to perform a wide range of surgical procedures and thus must be familiar with a wealth of medical conditions and treatments. These surgeons may be tasked with operations ranging from burn trauma to vascular surgery, though they do not usually perform highly complex surgical operations, such as treatments of the heart or brain, which are performed by specialized surgeons.
