Orthopedic Surgeon - (Ortho Surg) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 11/05/2015Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Medical Center located in Southern North Dakota is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon who can provide coverage. The city is known for it's historic sites and golf courses. The shifts are eight hours in length, Monday through Friday. The weekends are rotating call. A dedicated LPN is provided.
An orthopedic surgeon (locum tenens) treats muscle and skeletal problems such as those that accompany diseases like arthritis or with injury or trauma. Orthopedic surgeons who specialize in foot and ankle procedures have completed fellowships of focused training in these physiological areas. When a patient requires a complex surgery in the foot or ankle, general orthopedic physicians will refer them to foot/ankle specialists.
Facility Location
The ninth largest city in North Dakota, Williston is located near the confluence of the Yellowstone and Missouri rivers. Sports fans will want to check out the Williston Keybirds, a local semi-professional baseball club, or hit the links at two golf courses, East Ridge Golf Club and the Williston Municipal Golf Course. Lake Sakakawea offers aquatic recreation and is very close to the city. Culture seekers will want to visit the Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site, as well as Fort Buford, both of which offer history buffs the cultural information they savor.
