Surgeon - (Surgery - General) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Weekends
Private surgical practice in Oregon is in need of 1 weekend of 24 hour ED call coverage per month on an ongoing basis.
Position starts in June 2013. Will receive 5-7 calls per 24 hour period. Candidates must be comfortable with Endoscopies and Colonoscopies.
A general surgeon(locum tenens) is trained and qualified to perform a wide range of surgical procedures and thus must be familiar with a wealth of medical conditions and treatments. These surgeons may be tasked with operations ranging from burn trauma to vascular surgery, though they do not usually perform highly complex surgical operations, such as treatments of the heart or brain, which are performed by specialized surgeons.

BE/BC General Surgeon
Oregon License
ACLS and ATLS Certifications
